Branded Stationery

Adopting a standard look and feel for our official University correspondence allows York and its sub-brands to present a unified brand personality and engender trust and recognition in our audiences.

Our versatile branded stationery, which includes printed letterhead and business cards, offers a cohesive look and feel that helps staff and faculty connect with each other, with students, with our community and the world at large.

Please note that any York branded material, whether it be the logo or letterhead, can only be used by York University employees when speaking on behalf of the University. Branded materials are meant only for institutional usage and are not permitted for personal or student use. There is an alternate version available for grad students, as well as additional languages. Letterhead

York print letterhead can be ordered, customized and printed through Printing Services. Pre-printed letterhead shells are printed with the York logo, crest and personalized contact info. Sub-brands can access a full set of stationery elements that include their own logos.

Electronic Letterhead

Our electronic letterhead is only to be used in an email attachment that is not intended to be printed by the receiver. The template is not to be altered and must not be printed on a colour printer, as the logo will likely not match the official colour.

Memos and Fax

Our electronic memo and fax is fully customized by adding to, from, date etc and your unit or Faculty on the left side.

Business Cards

Graduate student business cards are available by request through the Faculty’s dean’s office. Students must receive approval from their dean before cards are produced. York printed business cards can be ordered, customized and printed through Printing Services.

Usage standards

All York branded materials, whether logos or letterhead, can only be used by York employees when speaking on behalf of the university. Branded materials are meant only for institutional usage and are not for personal or student use.
